Ingredients

Scale
  • Dry Ingredients:
    • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    • ½ cup granulated sugar
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp salt
  • Wet Ingredients:
    • 1 large egg
    • ½ cup milk
    • 2 tbsp melted butter
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fruits:
    • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Lightly grease the donut molds and fill each mold about ¾ full with the batter.
  6. Place the molds in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the donuts are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove the molds from the air fryer and let the donuts cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Make-ahead: The batter can be prepared the night before and stored in the refrigerator. Just allow it to come to room temperature before cooking.
  • Storage: Store leftover donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Substitutions: For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend.
