- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt.
- Dip each mozzarella stick first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Place the coated mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
- Make sure to freeze the mozzarella sticks for at least 30 minutes before air frying to prevent them from melting too quickly.
