Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dried apples, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, dried apples, cinnamon, walnuts, and ground flaxseed.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
