Description
Delicious cinnamon rolls filled with apple pie filling and topped with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup apple pie filling
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread apple pie filling evenly over it.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the filling.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk to create a glaze and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or raisins to the filling.
- These rolls can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
- Serve warm for the best taste.
