- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 slider buns
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it into thin pieces.
- In a baking dish, layer the bottom of the slider buns, then add a layer of marinara sauce, followed by the sliced chicken, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Top with the other half of the slider buns.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add additional toppings like fresh basil or spinach for extra flavor.
- These sliders can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
