- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- In a bowl, soak the shrimp in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat the shrimp in the flour mixture, then fry in hot oil until golden brown.
- In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make the Bang Bang sauce.
- Warm the tortillas in a skillet.
- Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas, topping with cabbage, green onions, and drizzling with Bang Bang sauce.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double fry the shrimp.
- Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
- These tacos can be made with grilled shrimp for a healthier option.
