Big Mac Sliders are a delightful twist on the classic burger, featuring juicy beef patties nestled between soft, buttery slider buns. Each bite bursts with the creamy tang of special sauce, crisp lettuce, and melted cheese, creating a flavor experience that is both nostalgic and indulgent.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Sliders:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 12 slider buns
  • For the Special Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tbsp ketchup
    • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
    • 1 tbsp white vinegar
    • 1 tbsp finely chopped pickles
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
  • For Toppings:
    • 1 cup shredded lettuce
    • 6 slices of pickles
    • 6 slices of American cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 12 small patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the special sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  5. Once the patties are done, place them on the bottom half of the slider buns.
  6. Top each patty with a slice of cheese, then add shredded lettuce and pickles.
  7. Spread a generous amount of special sauce on the top half of the buns and place them on top of the sliders.
  8. Wrap the assembled sliders in aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Make-ahead: You can prepare the patties and sauce a day in advance and store them in the refrigerator.
  • Storage: Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Substitutions: Use turkey or plant-based ground meat for a lighter option.
