Instructions

  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble.
  3. Cook for about 10 minutes, mashing the blackberries with a fork.
  4. Add the chopped basil and vanilla extract, stirring to combine.
  5. Continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes until the jam thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to jars.
