Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut rum – Adds sweetness and a tropical island aroma.

  • 1 cup pineapple juice (chilled) – Lends tart-sweet acidity and tropical depth.

  • 1 liter lemon-lime soda or tropical soda (chilled) – For fizz and a refreshing finish.

  • Pineapple chunks, orange slices, maraschino cherries – For garnishing and enhancing the visual appeal.

  • Crushed ice or ice cubes – To chill and slightly dilute the punch as you sip.


Instructions

Step 1: Chill All Your Ingredients

Before mixing, make sure your juices, soda, and liquors are well chilled. This helps preserve the ice and maintains a refreshing temperature without immediate dilution.

Step 2: Prepare Your Punch Bowl or Pitcher

Select a large punch bowl or pitcher with a capacity of at least 2 liters. Fill it halfway with crushed ice or ice cubes to keep everything cold.

Step 3: Combine the Spirits

Pour in the coconut rumblue curaçao, and peach schnapps (if using). Give it a gentle stir to begin blending the alcohol base.

Step 4: Add the Juices

Add the pineapple juiceorange juice, and fresh lemon juice. Stir thoroughly to ensure the juices and spirits are fully mixed.

Step 5: Top with Soda

Just before serving, slowly pour in the lemon-lime soda. Stir gently to combine — avoid vigorous stirring so you don’t lose the carbonation.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

Add in pineapple chunksorange slices, and maraschino cherries. You can float some on top and keep extras nearby for individual glasses. Ladle or pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish as desired.

While this is technically a punch, the Blue Lagoon Punch borrows from the classic Blue Lagoon cocktail, which typically contains vodka, blue curaçao, and lemonade.
