Ingredients
These ingredients come together to form a powerhouse of flavor:
-
???? 1 oz blue raspberry vodka (or blue raspberry liqueur like UV Blue)
-
???? ½ oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
-
???? ½ oz simple syrup or sour mix, to balance the tartness
-
???? Ice – for shaking
-
???? Splash of lemon-lime soda (optional, for fizz)
-
???? Optional rim: Blue sanding sugar or Tajín for contrast
-
???? Optional garnish: Mini rock candy stick, raspberry, or candy ring
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the shot glass
Chill the shot glass in the freezer or fill with ice water to cool. If rimming with blue sugar, dip the rim in lemon juice and roll in blue sanding sugar.
Step 2: Fill your shaker
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:
-
1 oz blue raspberry vodka
-
½ oz lemon juice
-
½ oz simple syrup (or sour mix for extra tang)
Step 3: Shake it like a bombshell
Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds to chill and mix.
Step 4: Strain and pour
Discard the ice water from the shot glass. Strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 5: Optional splash & garnish
Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda for fizz. Garnish with a raspberry, candy, or neon straw if desired.
Notes
These shots are easy to master, but a few tricks will keep them stunning:
-
Use clear blue raspberry vodka or liqueur for the best color.
-
Shake well with ice for a frothy, chilled texture.
-
Balance sweetness with fresh lemon or lime juice, tartness prevents it from being too sugary.
-
Want more pop? Add edible glitter or shimmer dust to the mix.
