Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Heat milk and butter until warm, then add to the dry ingredients.
- Add the egg and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread cream cheese and blueberries over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Drizzle with powdered sugar icing before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use fresh blueberries.
- Can substitute cream cheese with mascarpone for a different taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
