Bomb Pop Slushy

Ingredients

These ingredients come together to form a powerhouse of flavor:

๐ŸงŠ For One 12โ€“16 oz Slushy:

๐Ÿ”ด Red Layer:
  • ๐Ÿ’ 1/2 cup frozen cherries or cherry Kool-Aid

  • ๐Ÿ’ 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda

  • ๐ŸงŠ 1/2 cup ice

  • ๐Ÿฏ 1โ€“2 tbsp simple syrup or sugar, to taste

โšช White Layer:
  • ๐Ÿฅค 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda

  • ๐ŸงŠ 1/2 cup ice

  • ๐Ÿ‹ 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ๐Ÿฏ 1 tbsp simple syrup

๐Ÿ”ต Blue Layer:
  • ๐Ÿ”ท 1/2 cup blue sports drink or blue raspberry Kool-Aid

  • ๐ŸงŠ 1/2 cup ice

  • ๐Ÿฏ 1 tbsp simple syrup

๐Ÿ›‘ Optional: 1 oz vodka or white rum per layer for adult versions.


Instructions

Step 1: Blend Red Layer

Add ingredients for the red layer to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into the bottom of a tall glass. Place the glass in the freezer for 10 minutes to help firm the layer.

Step 2: Blend White Layer

Clean the blender and repeat with white layer ingredients. Slowly pour over the red layer. Freeze again for 5โ€“10 minutes.

Step 3: Blend Blue Layer

Repeat the process for the blue layer. Carefully spoon or pour on top.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

Top with a cherry, festive straw, or even a mini Bomb Pop popsicle!

Notes

Layering requires patience:

  • โ„๏ธ Freeze between layers to keep them defined.

  • ๐ŸงŠ Use thick slush texture, not runny.

  • ๐Ÿถ Pour slowly using the back of a spoon for clean lines.
