Description

Buffalo Chicken Lasagna is a delightful fusion of creamy ricotta and spicy buffalo chicken, layered between sheets of tender pasta. Each bite offers a perfect balance of heat and richness, with a gooey cheese topping that melts beautifully, creating a comforting and satisfying dish.

  • For the Buffalo Chicken Filling:
    • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
    • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
    • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • For the Ricotta Mixture:
    • 1 cup ricotta cheese
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • For the Lasagna:
    • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce until well coated.
  3. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
  5. Spread a thin layer of the buffalo chicken mixture on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the chicken mixture, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, then half of the buffalo chicken mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining noodles on top.
  8. Spread the remaining buffalo chicken mixture over the noodles and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

  • This lasagna can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • For a lighter version, substitute the cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
