- For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over it.
- Pour the remaining batter on top and finish with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The top should be golden brown and slightly domed.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
