Ingredients
These ingredients come together to form a powerhouse of flavor:
-
🥃 2 oz vanilla vodka
-
🥛 1.5 oz Irish cream liqueur (like Baileys)
-
🥄 1 oz caramel syrup (plus more for drizzling)
-
🥄 1 oz cookie liqueur or butterscotch schnapps (optional but dreamy)
-
🥛 1 oz half-and-half or heavy cream
-
❄️ Ice, for shaking
-
🍪 Caramel sauce, for glass garnish
-
🍪 Crushed cookies (like Biscoff, shortbread, or caramel wafers), for rimming the glass
-
🍬 (Optional) Whipped cream and a cookie wedge, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Rim and chill your glass
Dip the rim of a martini glass in caramel sauce, then roll it in crushed cookies for a sweet, crunchy touch. Chill the glass in the freezer while preparing the drink.
Step 2: Mix the martini
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:
-
2 oz vanilla vodka
-
1.5 oz Irish cream
-
1 oz caramel syrup
-
1 oz cookie liqueur or butterscotch schnapps (if using)
-
1 oz cream
Step 3: Shake it like you mean it
Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and silky smooth.
Step 4: Drizzle and pour
Remove the glass from the freezer and drizzle caramel sauce inside the glass in a swirl or zig-zag pattern.
Step 5: Serve and garnish
Strain the drink into the prepared glass. Top with whipped cream, a cookie wedge, or an extra caramel drizzle if you like.
Notes
While it’s technically a cocktail and doesn’t require cooking, a few key notes ensure the perfect experience:
-
Use chilled vodka and cream for optimal texture.
-
Always shake with ice—this aerates the drink and creates the smoothest, most luscious pour.
-
Don’t skip the cookie rim—it adds crunch and makes the drink feel like a dessert.
