Description

The Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Melt is a mouthwatering combination of juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy ranch dressing, all topped with melted cheddar cheese. Each bite offers a delightful crunch from the bacon and a rich, savory flavor that is perfectly balanced by the tangy ranch.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast: 2 boneless, skinless breasts, cooked and shredded
  • Bacon: 4 slices, cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • Cheddar Cheese: 1 cup, shredded
  • Ranch Dressing: 1/2 cup
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons, for toasting bread
  • Bread: 4 slices, preferably sourdough or Texas toast

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly onto two slices of bread.
  4. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and place the other two slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
  5. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and toast the sandwiches on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer the sandwiches to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice in half, and serve hot.
