- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Wrap the bacon slices around the meatloaf, covering it completely.
- Brush the top with barbecue sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add chopped onions and bell peppers to the meat mixture.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
