- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine the beef mixture with the cream mixture and stir well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and top with shredded provolone cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and reheated.
