- 12 large mushrooms (cremini or portobello)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms gently and remove the stems.
- Melt the butter in a skillet and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Add breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper, mixing until combined.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheesy mixture.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley before serving warm.
Notes
Stuff mushrooms can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
