- Pasta: 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
- Chicken: 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- Alfredo Sauce: 2 cups store-bought or homemade Alfredo sauce
- Cheese:
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Seasoning: 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the chicken mixture and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layering process: Alfredo sauce, noodles, remaining chicken mixture, and another third of mozzarella cheese.
- Top with the final layer of noodles, remaining Alfredo sauce, and the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- This lasagna can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- For a lighter version, substitute half of the Alfredo sauce with Greek yogurt.
