Description

Chili Tot Bake is a hearty and comforting dish that combines chili and tater tots, topped with cheese for a delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of chili (15 oz)
  • 1 bag of frozen tater tots (32 oz)
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
  3. In a baking dish, spread the can of chili evenly on the bottom.
  4. Layer the sautéed onions and bell peppers over the chili.
  5. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the vegetables.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
