Deliciously chewy chocolate caramel oatmeal cookie bars that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Spread the caramel sauce evenly over the pressed mixture.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
- Crumble the remaining oat mixture on top of the chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These bars can be frozen for longer storage.
