Cinnamon Roll Cocktail

  • Author: Jessica

Ingredients

To make one serving of this delicious Cinnamon Roll Cocktail, you’ll need the following:

Base Ingredients:

  • 1 oz cinnamon whiskey (such as Fireball)

  • 1 oz vanilla vodka

  • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur (such as Baileys)

  • 1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps

  • 1 oz heavy cream or milk (use heavy cream for richer texture, milk for a lighter version)

  • Ice

For Garnish:

  • Whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

  • Cinnamon sugar (mix equal parts ground cinnamon and granulated sugar)

  • Cinnamon stick

Optional:

  • Caramel drizzle for extra sweetness

  • Brown sugar rim (for a deeper molasses flavor)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Glass

  • Start by rimming your glass with cinnamon sugar. Wet the rim with a bit of water or simple syrup, then dip it into a plate of cinnamon sugar.

  • This step adds flavor with every sip and enhances the presentation.

Step 2: Fill with Ice

  • Fill an old-fashioned glass or a short tumbler with ice. Crushed ice can also be used for a slushier effect.

Step 3: Add the Alcohol

  • Pour the following into the glass over the ice:

    • 1 oz cinnamon whiskey

    • 1 oz vanilla vodka

    • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur

    • 1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps

Step 4: Add the Cream

  • Pour in 1 oz heavy cream or milk.

  • Stir gently with a bar spoon until everything is well combined and the drink has a uniform color.

Step 5: Garnish Like a Pro

  • Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

  • Sprinkle more cinnamon sugar on top.

  • Add a cinnamon stick for aroma, elegance, and stir-ability.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

  • Serve immediately while the drink is cold and creamy.

  • Encourage sipping slowly to enjoy the evolving flavors as the ice melts.

Notes

While this cocktail is best served fresh, you can still prep elements in advance:

  • Pre-mix Liquors: Combine all the alcohols in a bottle or pitcher and refrigerate.

  • Ready Your Garnish: Mix cinnamon sugar and store it in a small jar; have whipped cream and cinnamon sticks ready.

  • Serve in Batches: Multiply the recipe and serve in a punch bowl or pitcher for parties—just stir before pouring.

  • Chill Glasses: Keep your cocktail glasses in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving for an extra cold treat.
