Instructions
- Peel the hard-boiled eggs and place them into a clean glass jar.
- Create the brine by mixing white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
- Add spices including black peppercorns, mustard seeds, red pepper flakes, smashed garlic, and bay leaf to the mixture.
- Cool the brine by removing it from heat and allowing it to sit for a few minutes.
- Combine the cooled brine with the eggs in the jar, making sure they are fully submerged.
- Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate, allowing it to sit for at least three days.
- Enjoy the pickled eggs after the waiting period has passed.
