Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Strawberry Purée
If you don’t already have strawberry purée, you can make it quickly at home. Blend fresh or frozen strawberries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a silky texture, or leave it slightly chunky for more body.
Step 2: Combine the Ingredients
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the light rum, coconut rum, strawberry purée, cranberry juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Step 3: Shake It Up
Shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds. This chills the mixture and helps balance the flavors.
Step 4: Strain and Serve
Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass filled with fresh ice. A rocks glass or a stemmed goblet works beautifully for presentation.
Step 5: Garnish
Garnish with a slice of strawberry and a lime wheel on the rim for a vibrant, tropical finish.
