  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it starts to bubble.
  3. Make the roux: Sprinkle in the flour, stirring vigorously for about one minute until it turns a light golden brown.
  4. Add the heavy cream gradually, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens into a silky consistency.
  5. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Incorporate the spinach, letting it cook for about 2-3 minutes until it wilts.
  7. Finish with grated Parmesan cheese until melted and blended into the mixture.
