Description

A warm and creamy side dish featuring sweet corn, honey, and butter, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt to taste
  • Cracked black pepper (for garnish)
  • Fresh thyme (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter, melting it completely.
  2. Add the corn kernels and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened and slightly golden.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and honey, stirring to combine.
  4. Simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
  5. Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
  6. Garnish with cracked black pepper and fresh thyme before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or plant-based cream. If using fresh corn, cut the kernels off the cob for the best flavor.
