Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Salt to taste
- Cracked black pepper (for garnish)
- Fresh thyme (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter, melting it completely.
- Add the corn kernels and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened and slightly golden.
- Pour in the heavy cream and honey, stirring to combine.
- Simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
- Garnish with cracked black pepper and fresh thyme before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or plant-based cream. If using fresh corn, cut the kernels off the cob for the best flavor.
