Ingredients
- Pasta: 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
- Seafood: 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined; 1 pound scallops
- White Sauce: 4 tablespoons unsalted butter; 1/4 cup all-purpose flour; 4 cups whole milk; 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese; 1 teaspoon garlic powder; 1 teaspoon onion powder; salt and pepper to taste
- Herbs: 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped; 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- Cheese: 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then whisk in the flour to create a roux, cooking for 2 minutes until golden.
- Gradually add the milk, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and remove from heat.
- In a large skillet, sauté the shrimp and scallops over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until just cooked through.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of white sauce, followed by 3 lasagna noodles, half of the seafood, and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles topped with remaining white sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
