  • Pasta: 1 cup uncooked small pasta (like ditalini or orzo)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Add the diced onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, and sliced celery on top of the chicken.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and season with dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, then add the uncooked pasta.
  7. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
