Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. In the Crock Pot, combine the browned meat, kidney beans, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
