- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In the Crock Pot, combine the browned meat, kidney beans, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
