- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
- 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated tortellini
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour the chicken broth and Alfredo sauce over the chicken.
- Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once the chicken is cooked, shred it with two forks.
- Add the tortellini, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese to the crockpot.
- Stir to combine and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high until the tortellini is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can use low-fat Alfredo sauce.
