Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast that is perfect for a flavorful dinner.


Ingredients

  • 34 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 56 pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the roast in the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  4. Add the butter on top of the roast.
  5. Place the pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  7. Once done, shred the meat with two forks and mix it with the juices.
  8. Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more pepperoncini peppers.
  • This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes or rice.
