Ingredients

  • Beef: 2 pounds of flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain

  • Seasonings: 2 cloves garlic, minced; 1 teaspoon salt; 1 teaspoon black pepper; 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Liquids: 1 cup beef broth; 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Cheese: 8 slices provolone cheese
  • Bread: 4 hoagie rolls, sliced open

Instructions

  1. In a large crockpot, layer the sliced flank steak at the bottom.

  6. About 15 minutes before serving, place the provolone cheese slices on top of the beef and cover until melted.
  7. Serve the cheesy beef mixture in the hoagie rolls.
