Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups of crushed chocolate cookies
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of espresso powder
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a tart pan.
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering, then remove from heat and add dark chocolate chips and espresso powder, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Combine the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the tart cool before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the espresso powder.
- Serve with whipped cream or a dusting of cocoa powder for garnish.
- This tart can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
