Description

Deliciously golden crusted cauliflower steaks topped with gooey cheddar cheese and enhanced with smoky garlic and warming spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head Cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (chopped, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove leaves from the cauliflower and slice into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Drizzle olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread seasoned steaks on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, avoid cutting the cauliflower too thin and ensure proper seasoning. You can make the steaks a day in advance and store them in the fridge.
