Description

Easter Ham and Cheddar Pinwheels are a delightful combination of creamy, tangy cream cheese and savory ham, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Each bite offers a satisfying crunch from the fresh vegetables, balanced by the rich flavors of cheddar cheese, making them a perfect appetizer for any festive gathering.

Ingredients

  • Tortillas: 4 large flour tortillas
  • Spread: 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Cheese: 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Ham: 8 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • Vegetables: 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper, 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Seasoning: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Spread an even layer of the cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Layer the sliced ham evenly over the cheese mixture on each tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped bell pepper, red onion, and parsley over the ham.
  5. Starting from one end, tightly roll each tortilla into a log shape.
  6. Wrap each log in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  7. Once chilled, remove the plastic wrap and slice each log into 1-inch pinwheels.
  8. Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter and enjoy!
