Description

Delightful and flaky pinwheels filled with savory ham and rich cheddar cheese, perfect for spring celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 8 ounces of sliced ham
  • 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the sheet of puff pastry.
  3. Arrange the sliced ham evenly over the pastry and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Starting from one edge, roll the pastry tightly to form a log shape.
  5. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch pinwheels.
  6. Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg in a mixing bowl and brush it over the top of each pinwheel.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
