- Crust:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- Filling:
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- Topping:
- 1 cup whipped topping (for garnish)
- Fresh strawberries or mixed berries (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Add 1 cup of cold water to the Jello mixture and stir well. Allow it to cool slightly.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Slowly pour the cooled Jello mixture into the cream cheese mixture, stirring gently until fully incorporated.
- Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set. Once set, top with additional whipped topping and fresh berries before serving.
Notes
- This pie can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- For a different flavor, substitute the strawberry Jello with raspberry or blueberry Jello.
