Ingredients

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground pork, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold to seal.
  4. In a large pot, bring chicken broth and water to a boil.
  5. Add the wontons to the boiling broth and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they float.
  6. Add chopped bok choy and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or carrots.
  • For a spicier version, add chili oil or fresh chili peppers.
  • Wontons can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
