- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (or tofu for a vegetarian option)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, chicken (or tofu), green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing towards you.
- Place 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.

- For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with tofu or additional vegetables.
