- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup black olives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the beef and follow package instructions, usually adding water and simmering.
- On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.
- Layer the seasoned beef over the chips, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes, jalapeños, sour cream, green onions, and black olives if desired.
