Fireball Cinnamon Jello Shots

  • Author: Jessica
  • Total Time: 10 minutes prep + chill time

Ingredients

These ingredients come together to form a powerhouse of flavor:

  • πŸ’ 1 box (3 oz) cherry or cinnamon-flavored Jell-O – classic red color

  • πŸ’§ 1 cup boiling water – to dissolve the gelatin

  • πŸ₯ƒ 1 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whisky – the star of the show

  • 🧊 Optional: ΒΌ cup cold water – for dilution if preferred

  • 🍬 Red Hots or cinnamon candy – optional garnish

  • 🧁 Whipped cream – optional topping for dessert-style shots

  • 🍊 Orange Jell-O – optional, for a different hue

  • πŸ₯„ Plastic shot cups with lids – for serving and storing

  • 🧊 Baking tray or muffin tin – to keep cups stable while chilling

Instructions

Step 1: Boil the water
Bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil.

Step 2: Mix the Jell-O powder
Pour the Jell-O powder into a mixing bowl. Slowly add the boiling water, whisking until fully dissolved (about 2 minutes).

Step 3: Add Fireball
Let the mixture cool for a minute, then stir in 1 cup of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. For a slightly less boozy version, you can do ΒΎ cup Fireball and ΒΌ cup cold water.

Step 4: Pour into cups
Using a small measuring cup or funnel, pour the liquid into plastic shot cups. Fill about ΒΎ full to allow room for toppings.

Step 5: Chill and set
Place the filled cups on a baking sheet or in a muffin tin. Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Step 6 (Optional): Garnish and serve
Top with whipped cream and a Red Hot candy just before serving for a spicy-sweet kick and cute presentation.

Notes

These bombs are very forgiving, but a few key tips ensure success:

  • Don’t use hot Fireballβ€”let it cool if it’s been stored in a warm area

  • Be sure the Jell-O mix is not too hot when adding alcohol, this helps preserve the alcohol content

  • Use a small pitcher or squeeze bottle for mess-free pouring
