Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the egg mixture to the macaroni and cheese, mixing until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Roll each ball in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat.
  7. Fry the balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
