Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and airy.
- Add the egg and vanilla, beating until smooth.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined.
- Spread the dough evenly in the baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan.
- Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for frosting.
- Spread frosting over the cooled bars and top with sprinkles.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
You can substitute coconut oil for butter or use gluten-free flour for a different version.
