Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
- Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, whisking flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix dry and wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the Fruity Pebbles (and chocolate chips, if using).
- Scoop generous spoonfuls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
You can chill the dough before baking for deeper flavors. Optional: substitute with other cereals or add sprinkles.
