Description

Delightful cookies combining the classic flavor of sugar cookies with the vibrant crunch of Fruity Pebbles for a nostalgic treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, whisking flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix dry and wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the Fruity Pebbles (and chocolate chips, if using).
  7. Scoop generous spoonfuls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can chill the dough before baking for deeper flavors. Optional: substitute with other cereals or add sprinkles.
