- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 cup molasses
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the molasses until well combined.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For added decoration, consider drizzling melted chocolate on top.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These treats can be made ahead of time for holiday parties.
