- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the ham by scoring the surface in a diamond pattern.
- Mix the glaze by combining brown sugar, honey, orange juice, pineapple juice, cloves, cinnamon, and ginger.
- Glaze the ham generously with the mixture.
- Bake the ham in a roasting pan covered with aluminum foil for about 15-18 minutes per pound, basting every 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
- Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer, ensuring it reaches 140°F.
- Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
