Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chopped green tomatoes, onion, and bell pepper.
  2. Add sugar, vinegar, and salt to the pot and stir well.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add mustard seeds, celery seeds, and turmeric, and mix well.
  6. Continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
  7. Pour the relish into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
  8. Let it cool before storing in the refrigerator.
