Description

Delicious and spooky Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes that are perfect for your Halloween celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
  • red food coloring
  • chocolate syrup
  • mini marshmallows
  • chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a small circle in the center of each cupcake to create a ‘bite’ effect.
  7. Fill the hole with chocolate syrup and add mini marshmallows to resemble fangs.
  8. Frost the top of the cupcakes with vanilla frosting.
  9. Add red food coloring to the frosting to create a blood effect, drizzling it over the cupcakes.
  10. Top with chocolate chips for added decoration.

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter.
