Ingredients

  • 1 spiral sliced ham (bone-in recommended)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Cloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Create the glaze: Whisk together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Prepare your ham: Place it cut-side down in the roasting pan.
  4. Glaze generously with the mixture using a basting brush.
  5. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes per pound, removing foil during the last 30 minutes.
  7. Add cloves just before the last baking period if desired.
  8. Rest the ham for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Make the glaze a day in advance and store in the fridge. This recipe can also be adapted for slow cookers or air fryers.
